A combination of hedonism, art and active vacation.

In addition to traditional wine celebrations such as January's Vinceška or Vinkovo, there is an increasing number of modern wine events that combine hedonism, art and active rest. Among them stand out: Osijek's WineOs and Evenings of Wine and Art, Erdut's Wine & Bike Tour Erdut, Vinski Bor Marathon in Zmajevac and Frankovka Festival in Feričanci.
WineOS – International festival of wine, delicacies and pleasant living
In Osijek, for the past few years, every January the Festival of Wine, Delicacy and Pleasant Living has been held. On it, all hedonists of good will discover the little secrets of the leading producers of wine and gastro-delicities from all regions of Croatia and neighboring countries. At the festival, wines are presented and tasted, and numerous experts pass on their enological knowledge and love to younger generations through educational workshops.

May, July and October are the months in which theme evenings combining wine and art are organized in Tvrđa. Thousands of visitors taste the wines of Slavonia and Podunavlja, as well as the surrounding wine regions, such as Vojvodina and Hungarian Villány. The offer of wine is accompanied by autochthonous gastronomic delicacies, performances by jazz or blues musicians, as well as an art program in the Waldinger i Kazamat galleries, with light wall installations by artists from nearby Pécs, Hungary.

Every year at the beginning of September, during the grape harvest, the Wine & Bike Tour Erdut is held, an event that attracts an increasing number of visitors to the Erdut vineyards. It is a Dionysian celebration of wine, art, friendship and multiculturalism on the banks of the great Danube. Visitors enjoy a rich mosaic of events: dramatic performances, concerts in the vineyard under the stars, wine tasting, bicycle and wine races and open cellars of Erdut wineries. Finally, don't tell anyone, but this is where Josipa Lisac discovered where the Danube kisses the sky.

The wine marathon in the Baranja village of Zmajevac is one of the most popular wine events in Slavonia and Baranja. Every year at the end of September, it attracts guests from all over Croatia, as well as neighboring countries (mainly Hungary). The marathon combines the elements of a gaming tour and active tourism, since the goal is to conquer the dragon wine cellars before the other competitors using the wine list. The winner of the Marathon is crowned with glory, while the other participants find solace in top-quality Zmajevac wines. It is not difficult for them.

The main eno-manifestation of the Feričanci vineyard is the Frankovka Festival, which also takes place at the end of September. The event combines recreation and enjoyment of wine through several thematic events: hiking encounters "Through forests and vineyards", a race and cycling through the vineyards ("Feričanci Wine Run", i.e. "Feričanci Bike & Fun"). The famous Frankovka from Feričanci can be tasted in the wine cellars, accompanied by an excellent gastronomic offer and a music and entertainment program.
