Advent in Osijek 28.11. to 31.12.
In the City on the Drava during December, visit exhibitions, Christmas concerts and plays such as “The Nutcracker” at the Croatian National Theatre, and hop on the unique Christmas Tram, which will take you to the central pre-Christmas event – “Advent in Osijek”. In the Baroque Fortress, decorated with thousands of lights, immerse yourself in the warm atmosphere of the market houses with a rich offer of handicrafts and the taste of local cuisine, with evening concerts of various musical styles – from Christmas songs to pop and rock hits. Visitors have called the Osijek Advent “the most romantic in Croatia”, and the old Fortress remains like that throughout the winter. On each of the four Sundays of Advent, in the evening hours in front of the Osijek Cathedral, take part in the ceremonies of lighting the candles on the large Advent wreath, and—accompanied by the singing of choirs beside the city’s central Christmas tree—experience the true spirit of Christmas. On New Year’s Eve at 12 o’clock, don’t miss the traditional jump of the “Osijek Seals” into the icy Drava River in the Winter Port in the city center, and in the evening, come to the main program of the New Year’s Eve.

Advent in Đakovo 11. to 31.12.
During December, visit Đakovo and the Christmas Fair near the Cathedral of St. Peter’s Square, take a carriage ride through the festively decorated streets, and visit the State Stud Farm and the Lipizzaner Christmas Ball. Tickets for this impressive musical and theatrical performance sell out quickly, so book yours for this year or next year in good time. On New Year’s Eve, on the main town square J. J. Strossmayer, dance into the New Year with music and champagne in the company of your loved ones.

Advent in Baranja 28.11. / 6. to 20.12.
Experience the mystical region of Baranja and the magic of winter at the traditional Winter Fair in Karanac on November 28th. Embrace the joys of Christmas in Petlovac (December 6th), Darda (December 12th), Kneževi Vinogradi (December 13th), and Beli Manastir (December 18th–20th). Visit Christmas markets, attend workshops and concerts, take a ride in a Christmas carriage, see a living nativity scene, meet Santa Claus, and savor the rich culinary traditions of the Baranja holiday season. Celebrate the New Year in Beli Manastir with a concert by the group “Sto Posto Band” in the main square, starting at 10:00 PM.

Advent in Belišće 28.11. do 31.12.
The pre-Christmas season once again brings a true winter atmosphere and holiday magic, running from November 28 to December 31, 2026. Belišće will come alive with the holiday spirit, and visitors can enjoy an Advent program in Ante Starčević Square, featuring a Christmas market and the ceremonial lighting of candles on a large Advent wreath throughout the weekends of the four weeks of Advent. New Year’s Eve celebrations in Belišće will take place on December 31, 2026, with an evening concert in the main square.

Advent in Valpovo 28.11. to 31.12.
Advent in Valpovo features a wealth of musical performances at various locations throughout the city, a Christmas market, numerous seasonal shows and events, exhibitions, gastronomic offerings, sports tournaments, a living nativity scene, the “Moto-Santas” (motorcycling Santas), a Santa Claus bus, and a New Year’s Eve celebration in the city center, complete with a concert program. The celebration of the New Year 2027 in Valpovo will take place on the main square, featuring a concert by the Bonus Band starting at 10:00 PM.

Advent in Donji Miholjac 18. to 20.12.
The traditional Christmas Fair, part of the Advent season in Donji Miholjac, offers a rich program filled with holiday cheer and magic. It will take place from December 18th to 20th, between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM, in the park surrounding Mailath Castle in the town center. Throughout the Advent period in Donji Miholjac, visitors can enjoy a variety of cultural and artistic events, activities for children, and a visit to Santa Claus’s post office, alongside delicious local specialties, seasonal goods, souvenirs, and homemade products. New Year’s Eve in Donji Miholjac will be celebrated with a concert in the main town square, starting at 10:00 PM.
