Become a hedonist - discover the charms of the Croatian east!

Are you thinking about an adventure at your fingertips, about an unexpected journey that starts around the corner, about an experience that many search for thousands of kilometers and fail to find?
Allow us to introduce you to the solution to all travel-aholic doubts! Slavonia and Baranja are destinations that would turn even the toughest Spartan into a playful hedonist. Or as our elders would say– HeadOnEast!

„Hedonist! A traveler who enjoys the joys of life, natural beauty, rich traditions and customs, adventures under a clear sky, a pleasant conversation with the host over a toast, local cuisine and with a smile on his face."
Slavonija and Baranja, enjoyment at your fingertips
Slavonija and Baranja are an undiscovered destination, woven from a mix of magical natural beauty and landscapes cultivated by man. You will not turn off the camera. Here are some of the last intact wetlands in Europe, vast wheat fields, rich vineyards and centuries-old oak forests. The lowlands of the Osijek-Baranja County are bordered by two large Pannonian rivers, the capricious Drava and the mighty Danube. In the south, the plain rises towards the hills of Krndije, Papuk and Dilja, while in the north it barely perceptibly flows into Erdutski brijeg and Bansko brdo, also known as the "Mountain" of Baranja (considering the height of 243 m, the nickname should not be surprising).

Slavonians and Baranci give their guests the most valuable gifts - a sincere smile and arms wide open as a sign of a warm welcome. Kindness and generosity are woven into every encounter, and experiences begin with a full meal, recommendations for free time and general advice on how to travel the region like a true hedonist. The hosts here become and remain friends. In return, the guests very quickly begin to "wonder" about the local tastes, smells and colors, about the charmingly slow rhythm of each individual pleasure, about the surprising combination of traditional and modern. The broad Slavonian soul and Baranja charm are the greatest values of eastern Croatia.

Although filled with oases of untouched nature, quiet corners and rustic ambience, Slavonija and Baranja are well connected by traffic. The regional center, Osijek, is connected to the rest of Croatia and Europe by highway, railway and airport. At a distance of about two hours, there are also three large international airports - in Zagreb, Belgrade and Budapest. In addition, you can also travel to Slavonia and Baranja like a true hedonist-adventurer - by motorcycle, bicycle or boat. Danube cruisers and even two EuroVelo cycling routes are at your service!
