As the season of summer hedonism draws to a close, HeadOnEast takes the stage! On the first weekend of October, Osijek will host another hedonistic explosion of flavors, experiences, social gatherings, and delights for all the senses. Come to eastern Croatia and enjoy the flavors, music, and great atmosphere!

The eighth edition of the HeadOnEast festival takes place from October 2 to 4, 2026, in Osijek’s Baroque Old Town, Tvrđa; the main part of the program runs during the afternoons and evenings of Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3, with the closing program on Sunday, October 4.

Over the two main days—specifically during the afternoons and evenings—a musical program will fill the air with magical notes and rhythms. Breathtaking light installations will leave you in awe, and since the greatest love is the love of food, you can look forward to a host of culinary workshops and delicious treats—such as the essential, mouth-watering savory langošice (traditional deepfried flat bread) and “Slavonian” street food—alongside wines from Slavonia, Baranja, and the Croatian Danube region, golden sparkling local and craft beers, and the finest homemade brandies.

Children and young people will be entertained by the animation program, while those eager to learn can enjoy interpretive sessions that reveal the festival’s deeper meaning and values.

Silente (October 2) and Parni Valjak (October 3), along with the “Volim gramofonske ploče” DJs, will set the rhythm for a hedonistic, dance-filled experience this year; the festival lineup also features bands such as Fluentes, Electric Corn, Luzeri, Dora Vestić, Gradske bitange, and IDEM, as well as other well-known musicians and a few surprise guests!
