Dobro World Cup – world gymnastics in Osijek
From April 9 to 12, 2026, Osijek’s Gradski vrt Arena will once again become the center of world gymnastics! This year marks the 17th edition of the DOBRO World Cup Osijek, one of the best-organized tournaments in the International Gymnastics Federation calendar. Starting this Olympic cycle, the event also serves as a qualification competition for the Olympic Games and World Championships.
Even before the competition begins, Osijek has already broken a world gymnastics record with an impressive 60 participating countries registered. Olympic and World medalists and some of the biggest gymnastics stars from Japan, China, the USA, Korea, England, and many other countries will compete. The event has attracted them in part thanks to a prize fund that is double that of other World Cup tournaments, and Osijek is also the first tournament to financially reward the best coaches. The DOBRO World Cup has filled all hotel capacities in the city of Osijek and expanded into surrounding towns across Slavonia, which will also be living and breathing gymnastics this April.
The Croatian national team will be led by three Olympians: silver medalists Tin Srbić and Filip Ude, along with Osijek native Aurel Benović, who finished 5th at the most recent Olympic Games in Paris. They will be joined by Mateo Žugec, Marko Jovičić, Tijana Korent, Mila Prpić, Sofija Mešter, and Christina Zwicker.

Qualifications are scheduled for Thursday and Friday, April 9 and 10, while the finals will take place on Saturday and Sunday, April 11 and 12.
In addition to the sporting spectacle in Gradski vrt, the DOBRO World Cup will once again offer a range of accompanying activities for citizens and visitors, both inside and outside the arena.
So, reserve the first part of April for Osijek and Osijek-Baranja County and, alongside a top-level gymnastics event, discover all the charms this region has to offer.
This will also serve as the perfect introduction to another major gymnastics spectacle awaiting Croatia this year – the European Championships in Zagreb in August.
Before that, on March 28, 2026, head to one of six Croatian cities – Split, Zadar, Rijeka, Čakovec, Zagreb, or Osijek – and help break a new world record for the “Longest Split in the World.” Exactly at noon, participants in these six cities will simultaneously form a human split, symbolically announcing the 17th DOBRO World Cup Osijek.
